About Me

My love for wine runs deep. I was making wine and tying vines at my family’s winery when I was barely old enough to drink. I have been lucky enough to be a winemaker for 15 years, with experience in all facets of the industry. I have planned and launched new wineries, helped established wineries achieve their potential, and ignited passion for wine in tasting rooms and sales teams. Along the way I’ve also made some pretty good wines.

I love working on the frontier of American wine, be that in emerging growing regions, Hybrid- or Cold Hardy varieties, urban wineries, alternative packaging types and wine-based beverages. The wine industry and market are rapidly changing - innovation and fresh approaches are key.
